Every year, on precisely the third Thursday of November, France celebrates Beaujolais Nouveau Day which is celebrated with fireworks, music and festivals. The day marks the arrival of the first bottles of Beaujolais Nouveau wine. To learn more about this, we hosted our own event in a French lesson – with the non-alcoholic option of course! Students learned how to do a toast in French and enjoyed some apéro style nibbles such as Camembert.
Santé!
