We’re incredibly proud to share that Mal, our talented chef from Ponteland High School, has achieved 3rd place in the prestigious School Chef of the Year competition!
This national event recognises outstanding talent and creativity in school kitchens across the country, and Mal’s success is a testament to his skill, passion, and dedication to providing high-quality, nutritious meals for our students every day.
Throughout the competition, Mal impressed the judges with his innovative dishes, attention to detail, and commitment to using fresh, wholesome ingredients. His creativity in the kitchen not only earned him a place on the podium but also showcased the high standards we are so fortunate to enjoy at Ponteland High School.
We are extremely lucky to have Mal as part of our school community. His meals are a daily highlight for many of our students, and his care and commitment to their health and wellbeing is felt in every dish he serves.
