Ponteland High School is an 11 to 18 school of around 1,600 students with a large sixth form, based in a purpose-built school that opened in 2020. Ponteland is eight miles north west of Newcastle upon Tyne. Our aim is simple to state: we want our students to be happy, to feel safe and secure, and to achieve exceptionally well. Our students are enthusiastic, talented and motivated to do well, and they are the best reason to work here. The majority of our Year 7 students join us from Pele Trust primary schools. Due to vacancies within our catering team, we are seeking to recruit a General Catering Assistant on a fixed term contract.
