To celebrate World Book Day 2026, our Year 7 students took part in a high-stakes Interform competition that swapped textbooks for sketchpads. The challenge was simple but daunting: either redesign the cover of a favourite book or reimagine a classic character through a modern lens.
The level of talent on display was truly staggering. From dystopian thrillers to whimsical fantasy, the library was transformed into a gallery of literary reimagining.
The winning pieces, along with several “Highly Commended” entries, were professionally mounted and displayed among the area.
It was a fantastic reminder that stories aren’t just meant to be read—they are meant to be lived, shared, and reinvented. A huge thank you to all Year 7s who participated and made this year’s WBD one for the history books!
