Sixth Form Ambassadors Represent the North East in China

Last week two of our sixth form students, Sophie Armstrong and George Whitney, visited China as student ambassadors with Miss Nelson, and other students from high schools in the North East. Alongside important cultural sightseeing, the students visited several towns including Beijing, and were welcomed into high schools and even people’s homes! They took part in many cultural activities and met lots of new friends along the way. They presented their experiences of life for young people in the North East of England to Chinese students and teachers. The students have described this visit as a life changing experience, and we are so proud of the superb ambassadorship they have shown.
