On the 12th of February, Year 12 students embarked on an exciting three-day art trip to London, organised by the school’s Art Department. The visit gave students the opportunity to explore a range of inspiring galleries and experience some of the most influential artworks in the world firsthand.
While on the trip, the students visited the Tate Modern Museum, Tate Britain Museum, and the V&A Museum. Each museum had its unique features. The Tate Modern Museum featured more contemporary art, while the Tate Britain Museum featured traditional British art. The V&A Museum was also interesting to visit as it featured not just art but also fashion and design.
The experience of seeing the artwork firsthand allowed the students to appreciate the artwork more as they were able to look at the details of the art. This trip also allowed the students to be inspired to complete their coursework more creatively.
The London art trip was an interesting experience for the students as they were able to learn more about the different styles of art. This trip will have a positive influence on the students as they work on their art projects in the future.
