Huge congratulations to Tim J (Y12) for his outstanding performance at this week’s Ryton & District Music Festival!
Tim took home the prestigious Norman Stewart Trophy after winning the Piano Open Solo class. Taking on the technical challenge of Khatchaturian’s Toccata, Tim’s performance was a highlight of the annual event.
Adjudicator John Powell was particularly impressed, noting Tim’s “great sense of rhythmic drive and energy.”
It is a fantastic achievement to see such talent and hard work rewarded on the big stage. We are incredibly proud of you, Tim—well done!
