On the 24th of October, Year 12 students had the opportunity to visit Northumbria University for a full day of exploration and learning. During the visit, they were given a guided tour of the campus, where they got to see the university’s impressive facilities and experience the lively atmosphere first-hand. The tour was followed by informative sessions that offered insight into what daily life is like for a Northumbria student — from lectures and study spaces to social activities and student support.
Students also learned about important aspects of university life such as accommodation options, tuition fees, and the various financial support schemes available. The sessions provided a realistic and inspiring picture of what studying at Northumbria could be like, especially for those considering higher education in the near future.
Located right in the heart of Newcastle city centre, Northumbria University stood out with its friendly environment, and vibrant student community. From cafés and libraries to student halls just a short walk away, the campus truly captured the attention of many Year 12 students, leaving them excited and motivated for the journey.
