There was a distinct harmony in the air at Ponteland High School as students and staff participated in a series of workshops led by the Samling Singing Schools initiative. The atmosphere across
the music department was electric, marking the beginning of what promises to be a revolutionary shift in our school’s vocal culture.
The experience brought together a diverse range of voices, from our dedicated school choir to courageous soloists stepping into the spotlight for the first time. The feedback has been
overwhelmingly positive. Participants didn’t just practice scales; they explored the technical and emotional depths of their voices, gaining a newfound confidence that resonated far beyond the
rehearsal room.
