In December, Ayla took part in the prestigious North of England Schools Biathlon. Competing in the U14 Girls category, the event put her versatility to the test with a grueling two-part challenge: a 1-mile run followed by a high-intensity 100m swim.
Ayla delivered a dominant performance across both disciplines, ultimately clinching 1st place and securing the gold medal. Her impressive results have earned her a coveted spot at the National Schools Biathlon Championships, which will be held this March at the world-class sporting facilities of Bath University.
