50 x Year 10 students recently enjoyed a visit to Newcastle's Centre for Life. Students enjoyed reading and participating in the different exhibits currently at the centre, including life in space, the planetarium, a science show, functions of the brain, creativity workshop, Lego Creations and best of all the seasonal ice rink! The photograph below shows two students having fun with optical illusions.
Assistant Headteacher, Mr Warland, who organised the trip said, “All of the students thoroughly enjoyed the visit to the Centre for Life, Newcastle, which allowed them to see how science can be both fun and highly relevant to their everyday lives.”
