Visit for England Rugby Player, Zoe Aldcroft
On Friday 24th March the girls rugby teams were lucky enough to receive a visit from World Rugby Player of the Year 2021 and current England Red Rose, Zoe Aldocroft.
Zoe was in Newcastle preparing for the opening game of the Women’s Tik Tok Six Nations taking place at a sell out Kingston Park Stadium on the Saturday.
Zoe is a full time, professional rugby player who has a list of impressive accolades. The girls rugby teams were asked to attend the session with a question to ask Zoe about rugby or her career.
We were given an insightful view into the life of a professional rugby player, the route she took and lots of words of advice about how to make it to the top and not give up on your dreams.
PE teacher Ms Cowell said "Women’s rugby is a growing sport not only in the UK but in the world and we are extremely grateful that Zoe could find time in her busy training schedule to motivate and inspire our students".
