The Languages Department is delighted to announce that four of our students have been commended and awarded for their entries to the annual competition.
Every year, students from all over the North East are invited to submit an entry on a particular theme. This year the theme was Treasure and our students produced a short piece of creative writing in a foreign language showing what treasure means to them.
Our students produced entries in French, Arabic and Persian. We are so pleased that the judges recognised our students’ efforts and we are proud to celebrate home, heritage and community languages here at Ponteland High School.
