On Tuesday 26 th September, we celebrated the annual European Day of Languages. The Languages Department arranged a whole host of activities to engage students;
ranging from quizzes, to treasure hunts and writing competitions.
Our Year 11 Dual Linguists and Sixth Form students were invited to take part in a live webinar hosted by British Council and GCHQ Languages Outreach. This session explained to students how language learning can take them further,
whether that be via study, travel abroad or even working as a top government intelligence officer!
And finally, the whole school was able to enjoy a special European themed menu prepared by the catering team. Dishes ranging from Boeuf Bourguignon to Paella went down a treat with staff and students alike.
