During the summer holidays, Evan took on the challenge of walking the entirety of Hadrian’s Wall solo. Evan completed the 89.8-mile journey in just four days – that’s 177,297 steps from Bowness-on-Solway to Wallsend. Evan embarked on this journey in order to fundraise for an Ovarian Cancer charity and more personally, in memory of his grandmother. It was a particularly pertinent moment for Evan to finish this journey on what would have been his grandmother’s birthday. Evan managed to raise over £3,000 for Target Ovarian Cancer.
