On Tuesday 8th April, budding medics in Year 12 were invited to join an insightful talk from ex-Ponteland student Myles Paparesti. During the session, Myles talked about the application process and his experience as a first year student at Newcastle University.
Our students gained an invaluable insight into the rigorous process and Myles had many tips and ideas about how to ensure the process is as effective as possible when it comes to their turn to apply in the autumn. It was incredibly pleasing to see year 12 stay behind to ask questions and they left the session feeling motivated and inspired to achieve their goals.
Head of Year 12 Mrs Karatzenis said “We were delighted to welcome Myles back into school and it is great to see students doing so well in their life after Ponteland High School”.
