A new Gardening Club at Ponteland High School Students make Cheese and Courgette muffins from their own school allotment!

18 February 2022

Food technology teacher, Mrs Gray, and her form group planted courgettes last summer in their mini allotment created by Mr Allman and Mr Clayson. On returning to school the courgettes were ready to eat. The students were able to make ‘home grown’ cheese and courgette muffins. The pumpkins are still growing!  Mrs Gray said "the students really enjoyed using the produce that we had grown, and the final outcomes were really tasty!"
