This week, we took 39 Key Stage 3 students on a trip to London. The behaviour of the students was impeccable and every single one of them was a credit to the school, despite walking huge distances in the heat.
We had an amazing time and enjoyed many of the sights. Some highlights for the students included a Thames River Cruise, where they learnt many interesting facts about the History of London's architecture; Sherlock Holmes' house on the famous Baker street; a drama workshop and visit to The Globe theatre; shopping at London's renowned Covent Garden and enhancing their knowledge at The Natural History and Science museums. Perhaps the most spectacular experience was seeing The Lion King at the Lyceum theatre.
We hope that they have made some special memories as well as some new friends.
