"The universe is a pretty big place. If it's just us, seems like an awful waste of space" Carl Sagan, Contact*
On Wednesday 1st February, astronomer Adam Shore from Kielder Observatory visited the school to give a talk on Space Rocks to Y7 & 11 attendees of the school's Space Club.
The talk was thoroughly enjoyed by students who got the opportunity to handle a number of meteorites and ask lots of questions to a professional scientist
Pupil Dylan said "this was an amazing experience, they were very heavy and it was very special to me. I was very proud to be part of it"
