Since my return from the programme in January, it has been a pleasure to plan, organise and work collaboratively with a wide range of staff within school and beyond.
Students across all key stages have engaged with the resources and events in an extremely positive manner. Considering that 18-24 year olds have the lowest voter turnout in elections, it is even more crucial to inform our young people of their democratic rights. Helping them realise that their vote is worth just as much as their friends, parents, headteacher (even the Prime Minister!) is an incredibly powerful message.
I am looking forward to continuing my work long into my career.
