Over the past two months, the Music Department has held four mini concerts, providing a wonderful opportunity for our instrumental teachers to showcase the progress and achievements of their students, alongside performances from several of our school ensembles.
The concerts were very well attended and featured a wide range of performances, including piano, woodwind, drums, brass, strings, flute group, brass band and choir. In total, more than 130 pupils performed across the four events.
It was fantastic to see so many students performing with confidence and enjoyment, whether they were playing as soloists for the first time or contributing as part of a larger ensemble. The variety and quality of the performances reflected the hard work, commitment and musical development of all involved.
A huge thank you goes to the parents and families who attended the concerts and who continue to support their children’s musical practice at home. Thank you also to the pupils for their excellent performances and to our instrumental teachers for giving up their time to prepare students and support the events.
