On the 18th of October some of our lucky sixth form students got the fantastic opportunity to visit Northumbria University for the exciting Law Taster Event. Mrs Davison and Mrs Karatzenis took the 20 students through a busy day which began with welcomes and housekeeping before swiftly moving on to the first session which was a mock trial where students saw how a real trial would be carried out. They then had a quick break for lunch before being given a 45 minute campus tour of Northumbria University.
After this, session two began which was a long but informative academic group lecture and evaluation that brought an end to the busy day. Overall, it was a fantastic opportunity which gave the students lots of valuable information and was a
really enjoyable experience.
