As well as the General Election taking place last week, we had our own Parallel Election in school. 4 excellent candidates stepped forward and shared their ideas in their campaign. Following the example of Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey, our winning candidate Joe used memorable publicity and a well-targeted campaign to win the day!
An army of support behind the scenes made this possible with volunteer students working to run the election, ably co-ordinated by Ms Stripp and Ms Davison. Across school, we have sought to seize the opportunity the election offers to help our young people realise the power of their vote and the importance of engaging in the democratic process.
