On Thursday 26th September we celebrated European Day of Languages across the school. It is a day we always enjoy in school, highlighting the diversity of the world and our community . Our catering team served some delicious dishes for students to try at lunchtime including paella, boeuf bourguignon and bratwurst and students participated in a variety of activities in language lessons. Students were not aware that we have lots of talented linguists amongst the staff across all subjects in the school and in tutor sessions all students enjoyed participating in a ‘masked singer’ style quiz where they had to guess the member of staff behind the mask and which language they were speaking.
