We had Pi day on 14th March. It is a day in the maths world where we celebrate the amazing number that is Pi. Pi being the '3 and a bit' times the diameter fits into the circumference of a circle. There were lots of things going on around school to celebrate Pi Day, including Pi dingbats in tutor time, our special Pi Day menu thanks for Carol and Richard, and some associated Pi challenges for students to have a go at. Congratulations to Charlotte in year 8 who was our randomly selected winner for her correct entry. We worked on circular problems in maths and some sixth formers even arranged their desks in honour of Pi day.
