Poetry Club: Writing Inspired by The Lie

In our first session of Poetry Club, students enjoyed reading Don Paterson’s poem ‘The Lie’ before discussing its main themes and ideas. We then had a go at writing our own versions of the poem. By the end of the session, we had a range of excellent poems, and it was impressive to see how many different ideas students had on the topic of lies!
