Ponteland High School benefits from Asda’s generosity

Ponteland High School were delighted to receive some laptops from Asda

We received the message “I am delighted to confirm on behalf of Asda Stores and Asda Foundation, your school has been chosen to receive 10 laptops and support bundles containing headphones, dongle and data to support children learning.

This donation has been made possible thanks to our partners Dell and Vodaphone. And your school was nominated by colleagues at our GOSFORTH WANSBECK ROAD”

One of our parents, Mr Levis, nominated our school to his colleagues within Asda and we were very pleased to then receive a consignment of 10 laptops with additional resources to support our remote learning work with students.

Kieran McGrane, Headteacher at Ponteland High School, commented; “We can’t thank Mr Levis and Asda enough for choosing our school to receive these laptops, headphones and dongles. We will be able to share these with students who might not have access to a personal device thereby supporting them to do their very best in their studies. So much of our students’ work is now online or in electronic form therefore a mobile device such as these are a real game changer for them.”
