On Friday 9th December our annual Christmas hamper campaign reached its climax with an amazing display of generosity from the students and families of our school. In support of 4 organisations, Newcastle Council, Northumberland Council, Feeding Families and the West End Food Bank students have brought a small amount of food where they can, along with designing a host of different Christmas hamper designs - ranging from a Christmas Coca-Cola fan to an almost life-size snowman!
Mr Greenshields, Assistant Headteacher commented, 'it was a real privilege to be on the dining street on Friday as in half an hour the space filled with the incredible efforts of our students supported by their families. The groups collecting the hampers were blown away by the effort, generosity and good manners of our students. These hampers will make a real difference to bring Christmas cheer to some who are facing financial difficulties at the moment. A huge well done to all involved.'
