We were delighted to receive a talk and question and answer session from Rotary Club member, John Gill. John is 102 years old and provided our Sixth Form students with a fascinating account of some of his life’s accomplishments and achievements. John shared with us that he was a Sixth Form student himself when Britain declared war on Germany in 1939.
Both staff and students are very grateful to have had this opportunity to hear from him. This is just one example of how our students benefit from the work and expertise of our local members.
