Today, we held a drug awareness assembly for our year 12 students to educate them on the dangers of substance abuse. Through engaging presentations and videos, students learned the effects that drugs can have on physical health, mental health, relationships and future opportunities, as well as the importance of making informed choices and the risks associated with addiction.
In addition to raising awareness, the assembly highlighted resources available for students to seek help and support. The students were encouraged to foster a supportive school environment where peers can openly discuss their struggles and seek guidance when needed, empowering students with the knowledge and tools to make healthier choices.
