Ponteland Student Library Assistant of the Year 2024 SLA (Schools Library Association) have the national competition to name the Pupil Library Assistant every year from every school for all corners of the
country. So, we decided to hold our own tribute to our hardworking and diligent volunteers here at PHS.
All the Library Assistants were asked to vote for a member of the team who they thought deserved the prestigious crown. Votes were cast, including one from Pastoral Leader Miss Brewis and the results were revealed at the final
meeting of the year.
The winner, or should I say winners, were Henry B and Rowan S. They were awarded the trophy and they will share ownership over the forthcoming year before battle commences for the crown again in July 2025.
