Year 5 pupils at Darras Hall Primary School were recently treated to a lesson on space by High School teacher Mr Warland. The lesson covered the topic of the different stages in the life of a star which is something that is not normally covered until Year 10. With fantastic photographs and amazing facts the pupils really enjoyed learning about how stars are born, grow and eventually die.
Mr Warland said "Judging by the number of questions asked and the buzz in the classroom the lesson certainly sparked the childrens' imagination and interest in this fascinating subject"
