teams of Year 7 avid readers lined up to compete with other schools in the North East regional heat of National Literacy Reading Champions Quiz. The teams battled over 10 rounds, answering questions on topics like Books from Past, Villains and Odd One Out.
Brows furloughed and whispered conversations ensued to get as many answers as correct as possible to make it through to the final in June. However, both of our teams were pipped to the post for that sought after place in the final.
