Due to COVID our very own Ponteland University Challenge took a 12 month hiatus, but it was back this year with a vengeance.
After many knockout rounds the last two teams battled in the final on Tuesday 14 December. From the outset it wasn't clear which team was going to be triumphant; the lead changed hands numerous times. However, BREWIS’ BABES (Miss Brewis, Isla, Mia and Zoe) won in the end by t10 points.
Well done and commiserations go to BROCK’S BUNCH OF REIGNING CHAMPIONS (Ms Brockenbrow, Tom, Max and Joe).
Ms Laws who organised the challenge said, "Competition was fierce this year. It was great to see the extensive knowledge of our students; I'll have to start work on harder questions for next year!"
