Today two of our Yr10 students took part in the Future Chef Competition, held at Gateshead College. Abigail and Emma worked so hard to produce outstanding meals for the chefs to taste. We are so proud of their efforts and the chefs were very impressed and said the girls were an asset to the school.
We are thrilled that Abigail won this competition and will continue on to compete at the Regional Finals in Sheffield this February. Abigail will be mentored by one of the chefs to perfect her dish and develop her skills, they are willing to support both girls in future work experience and apprenticeship opportunities.
