Year 12 students excel in the British Physics Olympiad

The recent British Physics Olympiad challenge completed by Y12 physics students from Ponteland High School has showcased their academic ability and dedication to their studies. Despite the complexity of the exam, these students have shown resilience and determination to try to earn the top prize of the Gold Award.
The exam will be marked internally and benchmarked with students across the country. The results are highly anticipated. The students have demonstrated that academic success requires hard work and dedication, and their achievements are a testament to their individual abilities and the quality of effort they have provided.   
Physics teacher Mr Clayson said "We look forward to seeing the impact that these bright minds will have on their future endeavours".

Gold = James H
Silver = Jamie H and Joel C
Bronze: Lauren C, Emna M, Matthew B, Harry D, Umair R
Commendation: Sam A, Marcus I, Lewis M, Fin A C, Josh M
