Twenty eight students in Year 7 recently took part in a week-long arts and music project at Capheaton Hall.
Over the course of the week students worked with musicians, artists, farmers and scientists to develop a better understanding of the local history, heritage and sustainability of the Northumbrian rural landscape. The project culminated in a mini performance which allowed students in small groups to share their art work and musical composition with an invited audience of parents and friends.
Assistant Headteacher, Mr Warland, said 'It was a fantastic experience for the students and one that will last long in their memories!'
