In June, twenty five Year 7 students spent the week at Capheaton Hall for an arts based project exploring the history, culture and heritage of Northumberland.
The week culminated with a performance involving a presentation of art work, music and storytelling to an invited audience of parents, teachers and students. Deputy Headteacher, Mark Warland said "This project is a fantastic opportunity for our students to develop a deeper appreciation of Northumberland through different forms of artwork, whilst at the same time learning important life skills such as teamwork, public speaking and creativity".
