Last week, two groups of year 8 students visited Ponteland Primary School and Darras Hall Primary school to share their picture books that they have been creating since September with the Reception classes there. This group of students visited Seven Stories in Newcastle in September where they completed workshops on how Picture books are constructed, explored the galleries and handled original archival materials. Since then, they have been working on their books every Wednesday after school, and finally got to show off all of their hard work by sharing them with a captive audience.
