On Thursday 15th December, 60 students in Year 9 visited Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh to further their studies of Geography.
The students travelled through a variety of ecosystems - including the very cold Arctic tundra and marine ecosystems below the ocean, they also attended a Conference of the Parties (COP) to tackle Climate Change, and even felt an earthquake!
Miss Hall, Geography teacher said "We were incredibly impressed by the knowledge our students showed from their studies of Climate Change in school as they made decisions about countries at different levels of development and how they could tackle climate change. The students took on the roles as Prime Ministers and Ministers for the Environment of a variety of countries very well! A great day was had by all that attended!"
